About Us

A Finer Touch is the husband and wife team of Francisco and Lynette Rodriguez.  Together they design, install, and maintain gardens. They have a combined total of 65 years in the landscape industry.

Lynette Rodriguez holds a B.S. in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked in many facets of the horticultural industry, including retail, plant research, greenhouse growing, private estate management, education, and garden maintenance. Lynette envisions and executes plant combinations that are unique and exciting.

Francisco Rodriguez began his horticultural career at the esteemed Chicago Botanic Garden as a member of the grounds department. There he developed a skill set that laid the foundation for proper gardening techniques. Later, he held the position of head gardener/caretaker at a private estate where he honed his skills in garden maintenance, greenhouse and vegetable production, and plant selection. Francisco thrives on hard work and a job well done.
